In Math, we are continuing to review topics we covered very quickly before the OAA. We will test over Topic 18 on Tuesday and then review Topic 9 for the rest of the week. We are also creating tessellations in Math.
In Science, we are learning about landforms, and the landform project guidelines were sent home last Thursday. Students will complete a project at home (3D model, poster, trifold brochure, etc....) and write a report at school. Students will present their landforms beginning Wednesday, May 15th. We will choose presentation dates on Monday, May 13th so that students can practice their presentations in advance. A link to the project guidelines is at te bottom of this post.
In Reading, we are still reading Ungifted by Gordon Korman. We'll begin end of the year DRA Assessments and also learn about and write our own Tall Tales beginning this week.
