We had a lot of fun at our end of the year party last Wednesday. The pizza was yummy and the kickball game was fierce. We have some competitive kiddos. Thanks so much for the generous gift bag filled with goodies. It was SO thoughtful of you!
Well, we are still working away in room 208. We're going to work on Topic 16, Measurement, this week. Once again, this is our second time working on this topic, because we briefly went over it before the OAA test.
In Science, we have a few more Imaginary Plant Keynote presentations. They have all been very creative while at the same time demonstrating their knowledge of plants and their structures and habitats.
In Language Arts, we will finish Ungifted. We have about 50 pages left. We will also create a list of books we'd each like to read over the summer. We'll do some book "speed dating" in stations and watch some book trailers online. Hopefully they will come home with a list of book they can't wait to read this summer.
